It connects job seekers with job vacancies and offers one-on-one mentoring, using a curated and gamified approach to recruitment.
The company is headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia, and as of the mid-2020s it is one of the country's largest career platforms, partnering with thousands of companies. Dealls' mission is to "democratize access to job opportunities and career advancement" for young professionals by improving transparency and efficiency in the hiring process.

History and Background
2020 – The Beginning: SejutaCita
- Founded by Andhika Sudarman, a Harvard Law School graduate, inspired by the job-hunting challenges faced by graduates during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Launched as SejutaCita, a youth development app aggregating webinars, competitions, scholarships, classes, and internships.
- December 2020: Official launch, reaching 2.5 million users within its first year.
- Named "Best App of 2021 (Indonesia)" on Google Play for its educational impact.
2021 – Pivot to Recruitment
- Transitioned from a student community app to a recruitment platform.
- Rebranded as "Deall SejutaCita", later shortened to Dealls.
- Adopted a B2B model, curating and matching top-tier candidates with employers.
2022 – Growth and Funding
- Selected for Y Combinator Winter 2022, securing US$125,000 in initial funding.
- Team expanded from 4 to 22 members, partnering with 30+ companies including Tokopedia, Kitabisa, Ajaib, and Bobobox.
- Received additional pre-seed investment from Hummingbird Ventures.
- Hosted Deall Career Mentoring Festival (DCMF) 2022, Indonesia's largest 1-on-1 mentoring event with 1,026 mentors and mentees, featuring Nadiem Makarim, Najwa Shihab, and Sandiaga Uno.
- By the end of the year, Dealls partnered with 330+ companies nationwide.
2023 – Expansion and Innovation
- Introduced a redesigned mobile app and new AI-driven recruitment tools.
- Expanded its ecosystem by launching KantorKu HRIS, an integrated Human Resources Information System to help companies manage attendance, payroll, and employee administration more efficiently.
2024 – Recognition and National Impact
- Named one of LinkedIn's Top Startups in Indonesia by LinkedIn News Asia (published September 25, 2024), recognized for rapid growth, innovation, and talent attraction.
- Organized Indonesia's Largest Job Expo 2024, connecting over 20,000 job seekers with 500 companies and featuring 1,800+ fast-track job openings, 20 company sessions, and 4 offline company visits.
2025 – Leading Career Platform
- Grew to over 100 employees, supporting continued product and market expansion.
- Reached a milestone of 10 million registered users across Indonesia.

Dealls is a comprehensive job marketplace in Indonesia, featuring 100.000+ full-time, internship, part-time, and freelance opportunities across industries. Users can filter jobs by industry, location, or role, and apply instantly with a single uploaded CV.
The platform prioritizes speed that candidates can receive responses up to 21× faster than traditional channels. Job posts display transparent salary ranges, and over 7,000 recruiters actively scout candidates daily through showcased profiles.
Talent Curation and Gamification
Dealls uses a percentile-based system to categorize job seekers (top 1%, 5%, 10%, 25%), ensuring employers see only pre-qualified candidates. This ranking encourages users to improve their profiles and skills, supported by career development programs and industry mentor workshops. The approach combines competition and upskilling to raise the quality of job matches and hiring outcomes.
1-on-1 Mentoring
Beyond job listings, Dealls offers free one-on-one mentoring with vetted professionals from fields like product management, IT, business, and marketing. By 2022, over 3,000 mentors from top firms (Google, McKinsey, L'Oréal, and others) had joined.
Users can book sessions for personalized guidance on careers, interviews, or higher education. Programs like the Deall Career Mentoring Festival scale this mentorship nationwide, reinforcing Dealls' mission to make career counseling accessible to all.
Recruitment Tools for Employers
For companies, Dealls acts as an ATS and sourcing platform in one. Employers can post jobs for free, review pre-screened candidates, track application progress, and communicate directly through the dashboard. A talent search feature lets HR teams proactively find and invite qualified applicants.
HRIS Services
Dealls has expanded into HR tech with KantorKu HRIS, a cloud-based system for managing payroll, attendance, and employee data. Together, Dealls and KantorKu provide an end-to-end solution for talent acquisition and HR management.
